‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) hasn’t had a real romance since he returned from being presumed dead.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jason And Carly May Be Better Off As BFFs
The closest he’s come to having a fresh relationship is with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). They kissed in Africa to distract Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rotta) men.
We know his next love story won’t be as epic as JaSam. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) was arguably the love of his life. However, now that she’s gone, Jason is poised to have another special lady steal his heart.
We’re not so sure if Anna is his perfect match. There is some chemistry between the two, but it’s often fleeting, and Jason dated her daughter, Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCoullough), so it may be too awkward for both of them.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) seems to gravitate toward her high school sweetheart, Lucky Spencer (Johnathan Jackson). They were always a good couple, and Liz may not want to dip her toe into perilous waters again, as Jason tends to be drawn to danger.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is busy flirting with Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure). However, her relationship with him appears to be in jeopardy now that she’s bugged his office per Anna’s request.
Plus, many viewers agree that Jarly is better off as BFFs. Jason and Carly have known each other for a long time, and although they almost married when they believed Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was dead, as soon as Sonny returned from Nixon Falls, Carly forgot all about Jason.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sasha And Jason Have Fresh, Exciting Chemistry
It doesn’t seem like it’s in the cards for Jason and Carly as long as Sonny is around. That leaves our wildcard pick, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
Sure, she’s pregnant with Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) baby, but Duell will be exiting the canvas early in the new year, and when he leaves, he may be taking Michael with him.
When Jason rescued Sasha from Sidwell, they appeared to have an exciting chemistry. They experienced surviving extreme danger, as together, they escaped Sidwell’s trap in the nick of time.
It was exciting and fun to watch, and we think Sasha would bring out another side to Jason. It’s not JaSam, but it would be a refreshing change of pace if Sasha went back to Michael, who left her for Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).
As good as Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Sasha were together, the pairing never really took off. We figured it was full speed ahead for them after he rescued her from Ferncliff. However, the slow burn eventually became excruciating. And now that we know Cody and Sasha are first cousins, it’s obviously a romance that was never meant to be. She needs a new love interest, and Jason may fit the bill.
Sasha has a bit of a wild side, and she and Jason would complement each other well. Think of the adventures they could have together.
Jason and Sasha seem to have a genuine spark, and if Michael leaves Port Charles, Jason would be more than happy to help Sasha raise her baby. Clearly, Jason needs a woman to romance, and we think Sasha may be his best option.
