‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sonny Behaves In A Reckless Manner And Loses His Freedom
Even though after his talk with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Dex decided not to press charges, Sonny will soon do something completely reckless, costing him his freedom.
Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is a clever man, and when he wants something bad enough, he can be ruthless. Valentin wants to retain control over Pikeman and take Sonny down; anyone in the way of that plan will be dealt with accordingly.
Armed with the knowledge that Ava Jerome (Maura West) went to Sonny’s pharmacist, asking all kinds of questions about his medicine, Valentin sets Ava up, and she will also be in trouble with the law.
While her awareness that Sonny’s medicine is incorrect is Ava’s deepest, darkest secret, she covers her tracks exceptionally well.
Valentin will coerce Ava to help him take over Sonny’s territory, which we suspect may be her endgame. And Valentin might arrange for the authorities to catch her conducting illegal business.
Ava would be busted and end up incarcerated. Meanwhile, the courts must provide Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) with a stable and loving home.
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) would likely care for Sonny and Ava’s daughter. She is the next closest thing to Avery’s mother, as she already calls her “Mama Carly.”
Carly loves Avery like her own, as she not only puts a roof over her head but also supports her through her grief over not being able to see her parents.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Valentin Frames Ava To Cover Up His Crimes
As Ava discovers that Carly is the person with custody of Avery, she will no doubt lose her mind. With Ava’s Jerome family mob ties, she fights back. There are people in jail who may agree to help her.
Ava could be given inside intel that Carly’s freedom also hangs in the balance due to her past connection with Sonny’s business. Ava will do everything possible to get Carly out of her daughter’s life.
However, Ava is no match for the cunning Carly Spencer. Suspecting that Ava might have something on her, Carly enlists her admirer, Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), to block Ava’s access to information.
In the meantime, Sonny is furious that he’s locked up but is grateful to Carly for stepping up to take Avery. When the prison psychiatrist goes to check Sonny’s lithium levels, she realizes they are way off.
An investigation into the pharmacist responsible for the faulty prescription reveals that his medicine was indeed messed with. Ava is the first person everyone believes is to blame due to her history of medicine tampering and Valentin’s plan. Ava becomes the town pariah.
Sonny isn’t entirely off the hook for his crimes, but Carly advocates for him to see Avery. Carly will keep custody of Avery during the mess and vows to protect her from Ava’s evil clutches.
