    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Peter’s undoing to have huge consequences

    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) might soon be in for a rude awakening. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), too. Both women have been firmly on #TeamPeterAugust (Wes Ramsey), with Maxie allowing him to move in with her and her son. It’s a cozy little arrangement, but as we said before, we don’t think it’ll last. The Tuesday, December 10th episode proves why it’s only a matter of time before these ladies are forced to deal with a hard truth. Here’s what you need to know.

    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers: The background

    So, we already talked a couple of times about the various things Peter has done to hide his past and why these are pulling him closer to the point of no return. It’s really a serious problem in soap land. Apparently, the Soap Gods don’t always gift our villains with brains and steady nerves. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is a good example of that, as well as Brad Cooper (Parry Shen).

    In Tuesday’s episode, Peter decided he didn’t want to leave any loose ends to speak out against him this time, unlike what almost happened with the Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) escape. Last time, he was saved by pure luck. Or, more accurately, an obsessive Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). He decided to come in and clean up after his assassin, who was charged with stopping Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery). Sadly for him, this is a mixed thing.

    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers: The good with the bad

    So, he’s managed to stop the guy from being able to talk—for now. His assassin is currently in surgery and in bad shape. Also, Peter now looks like a big hero with a killer intuition. The thing is, he didn’t actually kill the guy. So, there’s every chance he’ll get ratted out. There’s also Anna. She wants to hear more about what happened in that operating room. We’re guessing Peter’s story won’t ultimately add up. This is bad news for poor Anna and Maxie

    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Bad instincts

    Anna and Maxie have proven their instincts aren’t great when it comes to Peter. With more and more questions coming up, including his dismissiveness toward Laura Webber (Genie Francis) today, he won’t be able to keep ahead of the axe hanging over him. Maxie is sure to be devastated by her love turning out to be a snake, and will likely leave her struggling for the foreseeable future. She’ll also likely deal with the guilt of letting a guy like Peter in her son’s life. But Anna is looking to get hit just as hard.

    ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate she’s been warned multiple times. This will not sit well with her later. She’ll also likely struggle with the fact the man she’s accepted as her son is dangerous. It could also lead to her discovering something speculated about more than once: Peter really isn’t hers. Yes, she knows the chance is there, but learning it for real is sure to be a harsh reality check.
