‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that star Parry Shen is opening up about something that a lot of actors often have to do, but might also have some reservations over it. The actor, who is best known for his role as Brad Cooper, says that now that he’s definitely ready to do more shirtless scenes in bed with his character’s on-screen partner, he’s not getting any of them! Here’s what he has to say.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Parry Shen Opens Up About Lucas And Brad’s ‘Shirtless’ Scenes
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Parry puts it this way, “I am always on high alert for shirtless scenes, so the fact that these last few years, I haven’t had to take my shirt off, I’m kind of pissed off! I’m like, ‘I’ve been ready!’ I think the very first years I was on the show, when it would happen, I wouldn’t get much notice and I’d be like, ‘Aw, man!’ So, I’ve been keeping a good regimen.”
The handsome actor further told the publication, “I’m not 100 percent, but I’m okay with where I am now. I have a friend who kind of helped me with my training regimen, and he used to be a body-builder and he said, ‘Before you are about to go on camera, start working out just to get that pump, and eat a Snickers bar because that will make the blood flow and pop in your veins.’ I don’t necessarily think that happens for me, but I just eat the Snickers bar regardless!”
With that said, we don’t know a lot of people who would protest if there were more ‘shirtless’ Brad Cooper scenes on ‘General Hospital’. As a matter of fact, it would be a nice change of pace for some! Now that we know Parry Shen is staying put on the show, we can only hope and cross our fingers that we will be getting much more of Brad Cooper in upcoming scenes. With or without his shirt on, he’s a great, talented actor!
