‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that star Parry Shen (Brad Cooper) is setting the record straight about some of the internet rumors that have suggested he is leaving the show. The actor says that for now, he’s staying put. Here’s what you need to know.
While there was several reports that indicated Parry was indeed leaving, he took the time to clarify the misunderstanding on his Twitter account. When one fan asked him, “I am confused, are you leaving the show or not?” Parry responded with, “No. Couldn’t say a word to clarify until today’s episode aired, so I wouldn’t spoil it.”

He then said one of the reasons why he didn’t want to say anything because he didn’t want to spoil the current storyline in which his character Brad and Ryan Carnes (Lucas Jones) both get badly hurt in a car accident. Parry further added, “But what was NOT an expert use was assuming my comment about an article regarding Brad’s demise on my FB wouldn’t be taken out of context and blown outta proportion like a game of telephone gone wrong.”
Nope. And I read all the sweet farewells. I honestly had no idea anyone would really care. So, this was kinda like being at my own eulogy reading all these incredible messages.

If that weren’t enough, Brad also shared an old Tom and Jerry clip that involved a rather animated spanking and captioned it with, “If I was really leaving, I wouldn’t plagiarize someone else’s farewell. But I couldn’t clarify until today’s show aired. And I always get so bad like this cat on Tom & Jerry.”
And there you have it folks: Parry Shen is not going anywhere, anytime soon, much to the relief of many of his ‘General Hospital’ fans. With that said, it will be interesting to see what’s next for Brad and Lucas’ relationship. Of course, fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next!
