Just recently, Mykelti Brown Padron gave birth to twin boys. The former Sister Wives cast member was so happy to share the good news with her fans. She and her husband Tony Padron, named them Ace and Archer. When their fans heard these names, they were a little confused about where these names came from. Myketli and Tony wanted to explain to their fans where they got these names from.
Sister Wives: The Interesting Names
In a new post on Instagram, fans asked Tony what his sons’ names meant. He told fans that their names have very special meanings to them. Archer is a derivative of Tony’s gaming handle. They really liked the name Ace, so that is why he got that name. “Ace’s middle name comes from Mykelti’s favorite strong woman character in a show and Archer’s middle name is to inspire wealth and prosperity.”
Sister Wives: Why Mykelti Brown Chose Twins’ Names
The twins were born two minutes apart and they are fraternal twins. Archer was born with dark hair and Ace was born with light red hair. Mykelti told her fans, “That’s fun, I’ve been fake ginger since I was 15. But, but their’s is natural.”
When it was time to give birth, Mykelti ended up having to have an emergency C-section. The babies were both breeched and giving delivery would be very dangerous for Mykelti. When she had her first child, Avalon, she gave birth to her at home and that was filmed for an episode of Sister Wives.
They held a Zoom birth as well so that the other wives could be there when she had the baby. Fans are looking forward to seeing the birth of the twins on the show at some point too. We will have to wait and find out if that will happen though.
It seemed that Mykelti just knew that she would have the babies early and she did make it 38 weeks. When she measured her belly, right before their birth, it measured as if she was 54 weeks pregnant! This was a sure sign that she would have the twins early and that she did!
The boys are happy and at home with Mykelti and Tony and we are so happy to see the family all doing well. Mykelti mentioned that Avalon was very exited about being a big sister and it seems like she has already started to show her brothers a lot of love and affection.
