When Christine Brown left her plural marriage to Kody Brown on Sister Wives, viewers were stunned. Not only that, the Brown family was taken by surprise when she broke the news of how unhappy she had been in the marriage. Christine has gotten a lot of backlash from viewers, but mostly from the other wives.
Robyn Brown seems to be the wife that has given her the most grief since she made the announcement. Robyn has made claims that Christine is lying about the way that Kody treated her and now it looks as if fans are ready to show their support for Christine as they slam Robyn for her comments.
Sister Wives: The Latest Drama
When the Browns were all at Ysabel Brown’s birthday, there was a lot of tension since everyone finally knew that Christine was leaving at that point. During the birthday party, Christine seemed to be in a good place, but at that point, she hadn’t talked to Robyn or Meri Brown in quite some time.

Going into the party, Christine told the cameras, “We haven’t talked since. I knew it was a lot to ask of them, to get together just two weeks after, but I also wanted them to know that this might be one of the last times we get together.” Of course, Robyn was very nervous about the party and she asked, “Are we going to be able to be normal and natural and comfortable, or is this going to be tense?”
In the most recent episode of the show, we saw even more tension between Robyn and Christine and this is what has led fans to feel that they need to slam Robyn for what she has said about Christine and her statements. Robyn called Christine a hypocrite and said that if she was so unhappy in her marriage, then she was lying in front of their faces or they were just pretending to be happy. Of course, this led fans of the show to call out Robyn too.
One Redditor wrote, “Robyn is a total hypocrite. She left her first husband and yet she shames Christine for wanting to leave Kody who treats her like dirt. And Kody had plenty of time to try and fix his marriage, but instead chose to spend all his time with Robyn. What a mess.”
Another added, “Robyn acts like she doesn’t understand why or how anyone would get divorced. I find that so confusing. I guess it’s self-projection of Robyn’s insecurities into Christine’s confidence in her new journey. Robyn, if you want to divorce twice, just say that!”
