In news that is not so surprising, Josh Duggar has been hard at work trying to get his sentence appealed. Thing is, federal prosecutors are not buying it though. Duggar has tried to argue that the expert witness that the government called to examine the metadata on the case wasn’t qualified, thing is she was, but that particular evidence was not used. She said she did not examine the metadata, but, she was well qualified to do so.
Then, it was said that before the trial, Duggar had offered three names as possible perpetrators of the crime, Joshua Williams, Joshua Mize, and Randall Berry.

However Duggar retracted his statement against Williams when the feds pointed out that Duggar’s own attorney had represented Williams in a case that resulted in him being held in custody in May of 2019. That is when Duggar began bringing Caleb Williams‘s name into the mix.
But as it turns out, Caleb Williams can’t even be placed near the scene of the crime in May of 2019. Now Duggar is saying that he wasn’t too allowed to call Williams as a witness, only thing he, he was allowed to call him as a witness but he couldn’t do just to throw up speculation and confuse the jury. He had no verifiable proof that Caleb Williams was actually there.
On May 11th, 2019, Williams left the car lot and drove all the way to Stm Louis, where he bought a new iPhone, which the feds have receipts for. He then went to his Mom’s house where he was on May 11th and 12th, his Mother even took video of him on the 12th, she is a verifiable witness. The timeline continues as follows until May the 16th of 2019 in which he traveled with his family to a wedding.
He was nowhere near the dealership when Duggar did his dirty deeds. The federal prosecutors have already told the judge that his appeal needs to be denied and that so far Duggar has not provided an exhonorable defense of where he was and what he was doing that day but rather simply tried to pass the buck onto other people who, it seemed like, he thought would be willing to take the fall for him. We do wonder how all that entitlement is working out for him behind bars. Stay tuned!!!
