‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is extremely concerned about Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) being in town and what it could mean for her relationship with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). After they just told each other their feelings for each other, Phyllis is worried that something with Diane could mess everything up.

Phyllis is no stranger to the idea that she wants Diane gone and out of this city, however, Jack is feeling like it’s not his decision and that it’s ultimately up to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and spoiler alert, Kyle just asked his mother to stay longer in Genoa City.

“Phyllis is upset with Kyle’s recent decisions, while Jack does his best to comfort her.”

However, is it really Phyllis’ decision and why would Jack and Kyle listen to what she has to say? I get it, Diane has a terrible past and she’s not doing herself any favors by slapping Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), though it really does seem like she’s trying to patch things up with her son.

Jack is in a bit of a tough spot, between a rock and a hard place, as one hand he has his son and wants to do what’s best for him, but on the other is actually a wrecking ball, and her name is Phyllis and she is angry. Though, we have to give Jack credit as it looks like he’s more concerned about his own son and wants what’s best for him despite the pleads from Phyllis.

Of course, Phyllis could be right. She normally is in situations like this, love or hate it. This is just the beginning and it looks like we may be in for a great storyline with Phyllis and Diane at each other’s throats!
