Sister Wives cast members, Christine Brown and Kody Brown recently announced that they were breaking up. They made this huge announcement on Instagram and their fans were pretty shocked. Many fans thought that Meri Brown would be the first to leave, but from the looks of it, Christine jumped ship first and now she is opening up more about what she has been doing since the announcement.
Sister Wives: Christine Shares New Life Plan
Christine took time to open up to People magazine about what she has been doing since she announced that she was leaving Kody. There have been a few fans that received Cameo messages from her since the split and she told them, “Thank you for supporting me with leaving Kody. The decision was a long time coming and I feel like a much better person divorced that I ever did. Life is so great. I had no idea life could be simple.”
Sister Wives: Christine Brown’s Update on Life
Christine has been in a plural marriage with Kody and the other Brown wives since 1994. She was the second wife to join the family and it seemed like she would be the last to leave. That is not the case though. She just released another video on Instagram and it was all about co-parenting with Kody.
In the video she says, “It’s a phenomenal world. It’s a whole new world. I hope Kody and I can still remain friends through this. We’ve been high-key communicating with each other and stuff. We have good and bad days, don’t get me wrong. But we have a life still together after this because we have kids to raise and Truley’s 11. So we have to be good and amiable and things like that. I think it’s just important to remember that.”
Christine went on to say, “I love being a mom. I love the relationship I have with my kids. It’s like I take them on dates- individual dates. It’s like my favorite thing to do with my kids. Just one-on-one time with them has been the biggest blessing of my life.”
Kody and Christine told their fans that they just started to grow apart and this is the reason that they broke up. We all knew it was coming, but again, Christine was not the first one that we thought would leave. There will be more twists and turns on the new season of Sister Wives and we will see it at the end of November on TLC.
