Is Sister Wives cast member Christine Brown done with her marriage to Kody Brown? There is evidence to prove that she is. Christine just put her house on the market a few weeks ago and it looks like it has sold. The Arizona home sold for $700,000 and on the paperwork, she wrote that she was a “single woman.”
She is not legally married to Kody, but it does seem as if she would have said that she was married, but we can’t be too sure why she did this. The couple is spiritually married and because polygamy is illegal, Kody is only legally married to Robyn Brown.
Sister Wives: Is Their Marriage Failing?
By looking at the last season of the show and the new trailer for season 16, it does look like Christine has had it with being in this marriage with Kody. In the trailer, Christine points out some specifics about the family. She says, “Covid has brought out how much we want to be a family. We’re not. I don’t think Kody wants to live together again. I think he wants to live separately.”
Sister Wives: Christine Brown Says She’s Single
Then when the idea of building on the land at Coyote Pass comes up, she says, “The best I could give today is pretend. I don’t want to move on the property. I want to move back to Utah. Why would I want to live on the property with a dysfunctional marriage where right over there he’s got a full-functioning marriage? Who would ever want to live like that?”
This is not the first time that Christine has talked about how she wants to move back to Utah. There have been a lot of questions about going back to Utah because the state has decriminalized polygamy and that is a big plus for the Brown family. Meri Brown also seemed onboard with moving back to Utah, but what does the rest of the family think?
Kody hasn’t been with Christine much at all. She has started traveling more and the only people seen with her are her daughters and Janelle Brown. They went on a Florida vacation and Kody was nowhere to be seen. What is going on with him lately? Is he ready to throw in the towel with Christine too?
We hope to find out more answers when the new season of Sister Wives airs in November on TLC. For now, we can keep an eye on the Browns on their social media accounts.
