Just don’t call it a sham, ok? Needless to say, a lot of ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers fans have plenty of opinions about Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) “marriage of convenience,” as everyone seems to be calling it.
As many fans know, Jason and Carly are navigating their new reality as two co-heads of the Corinthos organization. Of course, they are doing this in order to fend off the Novaks. But what do viewers think of it?

Taking to their social media accounts, fans sure had a lot to say about this storyline. Many have commented with, “I hate it. If they actually marry, it would be like brother and sister walking down the aisle. Carly and Jason have a fabulous friendship. It will never be the same again if they marry. For the love of God, just bring Sonny home,” along with, “I’m enjoying it because it’s clearly going to be a giant mess. He’s in love with Britt, she’s confused by the fact that she has had past feelings for him, & then of course Sonny is going to show back up. It’s soapy, so I’m looking forward to how it all plays out.”
Another person said, “I love Carly. I love Jason and their characters. I think Frank and the writers are only doing this to justify Sonny and and Nina. They are better than this. They are friends and nothing more. PATHETIC!!!”
Then there was this: “I feel he’s been her security blanket for decades. To me this was a long time coming if other circumstances had dictated the end for good of her & Sonny’s FINAL marriage. Of course the outcome will most likely not end in a MOC if Sonny returns in the near future. But who knows.”
