ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has been stirring up trouble, even before he showed up on screen. Secretly entering Port Charles, he has been the stalker making life tough for Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome (Maura West).
However, it looks like he’s about to get a lesson. And we loved how Nikolas was finally taking some big responsibility. It also spoke to the good side in Ava. Let’s talk about what happened and why it had to.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Busted
So, Spencer wasn’t exactly slick at times with his plot. He managed to talk himself out of it, but he slipped with Nikolas about the first “gift” Ava received. Plus, he was apparently carrying around the shoes that could link him to the incident in Ava’s gallery. So, it was really only a matter of time before the truth came to light.
Nikolas, to his credit, might have been fooled initially with that “deleted post” explanation. However, when that letter from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) came up, Spencer slipped and got the timeline wrong. So, now Nikolas is positive his son is the stalker that made Ava decide to get a divorce.

Obviously, this stalker thing hasn’t been easy on Nikolas, either. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal he really loves Ava and doesn’t want to let some stalker come between them. So it was no surprise Ava would be his first stop after realizing the truth. At first, Ava was hesitant to believe the theory just based on that letter. However, the more Nikolas presented his case, the more she had to concede it was a possibility. However, she showed a good side to her.
We think it speaks very well to Ava she was reluctant to have Nikolas do anything in response. She was worried about Nikolas destroying any relationship he and Spencer are rebuilding. She even admitted how Spencer has plenty of reason not to like her. However, Nikolas was not won over.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Learning his lesson
In a move that shows he might have improved a bit as a person, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate he said Spencer has to be taught a lesson. Nikolas admitted he messed up when he let Spencer believe he was dead so long. He also admitted his own darker impulses and how it is a Cassadine trait.
So, he wants to make sure Spencer doesn’t fall into those same traps. He’s getting older and the antics aren’t cute at this point. It’s good he can see that, but we wonder if this will make Nikolas do more than admit this much and correct Spencer.
Might this cause Nikolas to reflect on the things he’s done and how it cost Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) years of his life? Or forced Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) to leave her young daughter? We’ll see. We do know that sometimes leading by example is the best way to send a message.
