‘General Hospital (GH)’ spoilers reveal fans have been begging for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to get his memory back. They want him to leave Nixon Falls and the “Mike” (Benard)/Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) thing in the past. But it looks like the writers have other plans for the foreseeable future. Let’s take a look at how they’ve teased the fans so far and why we think one situation will be the big reveal.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Near miss
There have been a few close calls. General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina almost got busted twice little bit back. First, when Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) showed up to talk. Then, when it turned out Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) and Josslyn Jacks (Ede McCoy) were with him. Even worse, Trina spent time at the Tan-O. Still, everyone is completely in the dark about who “Mike” really is.

We’d mentioned before that Nina made a huge mistake in talking about Grandpa and how he’s alive during a visit with Wiley. General Hospital spoilers indicate this still has not come back to bite her. But fate almost messed things up for her again.
During a trip to get further tests on Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton), “Mike” almost came face-to-face with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). The writers really messed with the fans on that one. After setting it up to look like he stepped out of the exam room, it turned out Anna didn’t se him at all. A huge mis-direction that we’re sure got some fans fired up.
One of those happened to be GH’s youngest fan. Or, at least the youngest we know of that’s doing online commentary. We wrote about Max and his Twitter account that gives the daily rundown. He was beyond fired up after that, and we don’t blame him.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Enough is enough?
Now, we’ll be honest. We sort of like Mike, and we love that Benard is enjoying the character so much. But really, how much longer can they draw this out without it getting ridiculous? All these close calls have reached the line already. If they keep having residents just miss seeing Sonny, it’s going to go from suspenseful to, “Next, please.”
Actually, this latest one has us already there. We don’t know for sure when “Mike” will realize who he really is. What do know is, Lenny and his situation will likely be closely connected. Sonny is already starting to remember a few things. Once he does, you can bet that the Caulfields will be under his protection for years to come. And recovering his memory might be the key to saving Lenny’s life.
This is where we think the truth comes out. Nina is obviously well-off. But is she as well-off as the head of the Corinthos empire? And can she foot the bill for everything Lenny needs on her own? We can’t help but wonder if Lenny’s stubbornness about putting Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) in debt to save him will be what makes Nina finally tell all.
If it did, that might go a step toward redeeming her for her actions. Notice we said, “Might.” We’re sure Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and others will never forgive her. But this might help Sonny be more understanding and keep the Caulfields from hating her as well.
