It’s time to SPARKLE BABY. ‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ is back. Sort of. It has been almost five years since the seventh and final season of TLC’s reality series on the lows and lower-lows of child beauty pageants was aired.

Now, with a move over to Discovery+ the go-go juice, glitter and best of all pageant moms (and dads) return with a three part documentary: Toddlers and Tiaras: Where Are They Now.

‘Toddlers & Tiaras’: Where are they now special coming soon!

The special takes a look at the Toddlers who vied for the Tiaras both then and now, with promises of shock reveals and fond memories. Who still remembers their old routines? Who can still squeeze into their sequin spangled tutu dress and who is currently in therapy?

Okay, so the last question may not be answered, but Discovery + assures it will be a fun follow-up on some of the show’s favorite former toddlers and their over-the-top parents.

Where Are They Now will also countdown the most outrageous tactics and tricks the pageant parents adopted in the quest for a plastic crown.

This will include discussing controversial costume choices (can anyone really forget seeing a 3 year old dressed as a hooker with a heart of gold?), questionable bribery tactics (straight up sugar packet anyone?) and monumental meltdowns…yes, I’m still speaking of the parents here.

Toddlers and Tiaras first aired in 2009, so several of the pageant queens (and kings) will now be in high school or even college. I, for one, am intrigued to see how their pageant start affects their day-to-day life in the present.

Have they attained a sense of self-confidence that will serve them well for the rest of their lives or a sense of self-entitlement? Are they still pursuing dreams of crowns and stardom or are they rebelling against their early years (and still star-struck Momagers) and pursuing their own interests?

We’ll find out when the feathers start flying again on January 21 on the recently released platform, Discovery+. I’m in.
