Baldwin has started getting some serious backlash over her accent and now one of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Dorit Kemsley, is coming forward and sharing her thoughts on the Baldwin scandal.

Dorit told her fans, ” I feel bad for what she’s going through in the press at the moment. I don’t think she deserves it. I’ve had so much scrutiny over the way I speak, I’ve learned to ignore all the noise but at first it was really hurtful. I’m sure all of this backlash has been hard on her.”
Dorit doesn’t know Hilaria but she does follow her on social media and she sees what all of this is doing to her and can’t imagine what it is doing to her mentally.

“I would love to see less trolling and bullying on social media in 2021. If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
” Baldwin did take the time to defend herself on her social media account though. She posted a video, “There’s been some questions about where I’m born, I’m born in Boston… I spent some of my childhood in Boston, some of my childhood in Spain, my family, my brother, my parents, my nephew, everybody is over there in Spain now, I’m here. We celebrate both cultures in our home—Alec and I are raising our children bilingual, just as I was raised. This is very important to me. I understand that my story is a little different, but it is mine, and I’m very proud of it.”
Many of Hliaria’s followers think that she has just flat out lied about where she was born, but then there are others who don’t even care. Dorit feels her pain though.
She told fans, “I think the way I speak is probably a combination of many things. First and foremost, I am married to a Brit who’s got a very, very strong London accent, and I’m sure some of the inflections have sort of rolled over on me. My parents are not American, I was born and raised in America. I did spend a significant amount of time, nearly 10 years, back and forth going to Europe.”
We are glad that Hilaria has at least one more person to support her through this scandal.
