'General Hospital' Spoilers: Ripples In the Water - Was Oscar Really There?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers bring progress for Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry), a surprise for Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and a new Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). If you missed the action, let’s check out the highlights in today’s General Hospital rundown.

    General Hospital spoilers: Almost there

Jordan’s progress is steady, and she’s no longer going to be under the care of Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). They still have some hurdles to get through—namely, the medical bills.

Nina is the first to offer her assistance. Actually, she offers to pay the whole bill herself. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) appreciates the gesture, but refuses to take the money. Drew Cain (Billy Miller) also wants to help out. He offers while visiting Jordan, reasoning that he’s basically the reason she’s here to start with. Jordan assures him that it wasn’t his fault and also refuses the help.

General Hospital spoilers: A new face

Nina may have a new face now, but she’s going to have the same problems. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is feeling threatened by the new delay in their wedding and offers to buy Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) stake in Aurora Media. Jax refuses, and when Nina finds out about this, she’s glad. She thinks they’re great and appreciates his faith in her, but she wants a boss who’s going to tell her no sometimes, and not just say she’s brilliant all the time. She assures Valentin that she is thrilled for their wedding and just wants this other stuff off her plate first. Crimson is her baby, and she wants it to succeed.

    General Hospital spoilers: Epic fail?

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is freaking out when she meets Peter for a pre-surprise party snack and learns he prefers pie to cake. Not only that, but he was more into Ninjas than baseball or astronauts as a kid. This is contrary to the cake and decorations she’d chosen for the party.

Maxie’s behavior makes Peter realize what’s going on, and he asks Mac Scorpio (John J. York) to cancel the surprise party she’s obviously gotten him to help with. He talks Peter down, and Peter goes along with Finn bringing him to the party as planned. He even promises to act surprised.

Later on, Peter follows through on that promise and even thanks Maxie for the party. He says it’s the very first birthday party he’s ever had, and Maxie promises it won’t be the last. She advises him to get used to it.

    General Hospital spoilers: Laughter heals

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has Cameron Spencer (William Lipton) and Trina (Sydney Mikayla) come by the Corinthos place through the back door. She doesn’t want her parents cluing in to what she’s up to and worrying. When he learns Joss wants to hold a séance, he thinks they have every right to worry. He tries to talk her out of it by suggesting she go to Oscar’s meadow or something instead. She argues she’s already done all that and needs to try this. Trina eventually gets him to go along.

The séance starts with Joss lighting some candles and placing a cup of water on the table. It’ll ripple, letting them know that Oscar is answering them. Things start off okay, but Cameron breaks the mood by bursting out laughing at Joss’ speech to call to Oscar. He explains that Oscar would be laughing his you-know-what off if he were here to see this. The girls agree and they’re soon laughing over old memories.

This seems to help out a lot, and Trina is shocked to see the water rippling in the cup. They aren’t sure if they’ve really connected with him, but it looks like progress was made. After the other two leave, we see a POV on Joss through a window that makes us wonder if she really did connect with something (or someone).
