TLC tried to follow the hit show sMothered with I Love a Mama’s Boy. For viewers, they were shocked by how close some of these men are to their mothers and some of their relationships bordered on incest, much like those in sMothered.
These moms are so over the top that some viewers think that this show is scripted just because of how attached to their mothers these men are. The question on a lot of their minds is if there will be another season of the show.

I Love a Mama’s Boy has ended, but fans still want more. We all know that TLC takes their time when it comes to letting us know if they have renewed a show. There are many cast members on the show that fans really love and some that they really hate.
Shekeb’s mother, Laila, has become one of the most hated cast members on the show. She has such a bad attitude about her son and his girlfriend, Emily. Although Shekeb is always by his mother’s side and always takes in her criticisms, it seems that he can never make his mother happy.

When fans saw Laila at Emily’s birthday, that was the point where the hatred for her began. Laila refused to eat the cake there just because of how much she dislikes her. If the show is renewed, fans think Laila and Shekeb should go.
Another mother-son couple that gets a lot of hate is Jason and his mom Annette. Although Jason is engaged to Justina, the couple find it really hard to shake Annette’s judging eyes.
Justina hates the fact that all Annette wants to do is help plan the wedding, which is generally the bride’s job. Jason and Annette do butt heads on things, but he is still trying his best to make her happy.
There has still been no word on a new season of I Love Mama’s Boy though. We really do enjoy watching it especially during quarantine, but we will have to be patient about a second season of the show.
We also have to remember that the reason this show happened was because of how popular sMothered has become. Just like with sMothered, we will just have to wait and see if TLC gives the show the go ahead. We really hope they do because we can’t wait to see more of it!
