Many fans of 90 Day Fiancé are concerned about why Varya Malina still supports Geoffrey Paschel. He is still in prison and serving time for a domestic violence charge, but Varya still shows her support. She is constantly telling her fans that he is innocent and many of them are still standing by her with this. There are others, of course, that feel that she is just wasting her time and she should move on. No matter how fans feel about Paschel, Varya has stood by him no matter what. She recently shared a story that happened on Thanksgiving.

In her most recent post on Instagram, Varya shared that she did get to spend the holiday with Geoffrey. She went to the prison to meet with him and she wrote to her fans, “Yesteray, I spent my Thanksgiving with Geoffrey. When I came to the visitation room, Geoffrey wasn’t there yet. ”

She talked about how waiting made her go to look at the veding machine and perhaps grab some snacks from there. What she didn’t know was that Geoffrey was going to surprise her. He grabbed her from the back and yelled ‘boo’ in her ear and she said that she screamed and jumped. She also said that she nearly “peed” herself.
Apparently this joke was something that Geoffrey had been planning everyone in the prison was in on it. Of course, everyone around them laughed and thought it was hysterical. She added, “The guards were laughing and offering me diapers.”
She also talked about how everyone in the visitation room thought that they were “weirdos..but entertaining ones.” This is when she went on to talk about how they are perfect for one another and this whole incident just proves it to her more.
More and more critics are skeptical about these two and many have said that they think she posts about him for clicks and to try and make money off of their story. This is a possibility, but it is also possible that she still loves him unconditionally.
She has tried to gain sympathy from fans since he is serving many years in prison, but she is still trying to save him and work with lawyers to get an appeal. She is dedicated to him and at this point, she thinks that he is the best that she can get.
Fans love Varya, but they don’t love the fact that she is supporting Geoffrey still. We will have to keep an eye on her Instagram to find out how they are doing.
