’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers indicate that Mormon Steven has a secret that he hasn’t told Alina about. Remember how chastity is a tenet of Mormon teachings and how important it was for those two remains pure for the wedding night?
Or at least that’s what poor Alina has been led to believe. She said that she was a virgin and has never been with anyone, and from the way she talked, she thought that Steven was a virgin too and that he wanted to save himself for their wedding night.

Until we find out in the confessional that he isn’t and he hasn’t and that’s all a big lie. Now, whether or not he meant to lie to Alina isn’t clear, but their sleeping arrangements did come up. Instead of just renting them both one apartment with say, two bedrooms, he rented two apartments.
One is a nice, regular apartment that he’s going to let Alina stay in, and the other was a room at a hostel which he’s going to stay in. He wanted to book two apartments because he was committed to this idea of them both maintaining their purity for the wedding night and said that it would just be for a month or so until they could get married. He said that this also had something to do with Alina’s baptism? I wasn’t too clear on that part.
Alina doesn’t like the idea of it at all and told Steven that it sounded kind of stupid to her. He compromised saying that he would stay in her apartment on the couch the first night and then the next night he would go to the hostel and see how she felt about staying alone.
She did say that she did not leave Russia and go to Turkey just to be spending all that time alone. Steven says that he just wants to do everything right by the tenets of the church, and of course there’s also the whole “Will Alina agree to become Mormon?” thing that no one has discussed with her yet.
(Or at least if they have they haven’t discussed it on camera.) Right now Steven’s down to compromise… something tells me he may just end up staying in the apartment for the duration. Stay tuned!!!
