TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers indicate that Deavan Clegg decided that it was time to shut down comments on her IG account and not really because of backlash, I guess that didn’t really matter. Rather, a commenter decided to go and post about who Drascilla’s biological Dad was.
Normally when information like this comes out it’s not that big of a deal, but with Deavan it is because according to her IG story where she posted this, she has a life-long protective order against the man. Life long. In cases like that, they usually don’t serve a life-long protective order against a parent unless both parent and child are in extreme danger.

Yike. In her IG stories she says this: “This isn’t a game, you guys did me in you win… thanks for leaking who Drasilla’s bio [dad] is… I’m done you guys win there is a reason why I have a lifelong protective order… shutting down comments. You all really believe everything you see on tv… you guys don’t know the truth or half of it. Have fun with your dumb show.”
So while yes, Deavan’s actions against Jihoon are reprehensible, let’s not forget that there are also two very small, very innocent children involved in all of this. Small, innocent children who could very well be in danger now that this information is exposed.
Now you might argue that if Deavan didn’t want someone to do some digging maybe she should not have decided to let her daughter’s identity be known on an international TV show but that’s not really being fair because she did everything she could beforehand to prevent her children’s exposure to this guy. She did her part there.
It’s one thing to lambast Deavan for her actions against Jihoon and for the absolute train-wreck she’s pulled in Korea. However, if she’s telling the truth about having a life-long protective order against this guy (and from what I’ve watched of her youtube channel she says that some people she used to be involved with were pretty sketchy, so it has a good chance of being true), then there was really no need to go snooping around and finding the guy and potentially putting him on the radar.
The situation is fraught enough without involving someone that may not even be a good influence on Drasilla and is obviously barred from seeing her for a reason. Just another example of how the internet can be a powerful and scary place. We’ll keep you updated. Stay tuned!!!
