Geoffrey Paschel, once featured on ‘90 Day Fiancé‘ when he met Varya from Russia, is now facing 12-20 years without the possibility of parole after being convicted of domestic assault. The news of the attack broke when he was still on the show and he was quickly cut from the end of the season.

Paschel attacked his ex-girlfriend Kristen Wilson at her Tennessee home back in 2019. While Paschel tried to play it off like it was no big deal and that she had actually bumped into some other things on her own (we’ve never heard that one before), it was the photographs of Wilson’s wounds and testimony that sealed the deal for Paschel and the jury deliberated in an hour and half to convict him.

“Former reality TV cast member #GeoffreyPaschel is facing 12 to 20 years without the possibility of parole after being convicted of domestic assault.”

Some reactions from the 90-day fans included, “He thought he could get away with doing that. He thought everyone would believe his lies and even feel sorry for him.”, “My God watching him on 90 Days he really did hide this well. You would have never known. I wonder what happened to Varia after this?”, and “Domestic violence is disgusting and I’m glad he’ll go to prison for a long time, hopefully, 20 or more.”

Meanwhile, his attorney Greg Isaacs is continuing to go up to bat for him, who wants to appeal the 12-20 year sentencing and try to get Paschel a more lenient time. He was interviewed in the clip above about it, and it’s a wonder how some of these defense attorneys sleep at night. How could you look at someone like Paschel and defend his actions?

I think it is safe to say that Paschel will be behind bars for a long time no matter what. Just one more criminal and abuser off the streets.

What do you think? Can you believe how well this was hidden while he was on the show and are you happy with the sentence? Let us know in the comments below.
