In the 1970s, George Foreman is alleged to have sexually assaulted two women. The two women, whose names have been withheld for legal reasons, alleged that the heavyweight legend assaulted them. The 73-year-old former two-time world heavyweight champion says he and his lawyers will “expose his accusers” in court. Foreman denies any wrongdoing whatsoever.

Foreman gave a response to the New York Post saying, “Over the past six months, two women have been trying to extort millions of dollars each from me and my family. They are falsely claiming that I sexually abused them over 45 years ago in the 1970s. I adamantly and categorically deny these allegations.”

Each of the alleged victims reportedly has a father who was close friends and coworkers with Foreman. The women are seeking $12.5 million each from Foreman.  Foreman added to his statement, “The pride I take in my reputation means as much to me as my sports accomplishments, and I will not be intimidated by baseless threats and lies. I am, and always will be, guided by my faith and trust in God. I will work with my lawyers to fully and truthfully expose my accusers’ scheme and defend myself in court. I don’t pick fights, but I don’t run away from them either.”

Foreman was a two-time champion who had a career record of 76-5. If these allegations are true, this will forever tarnish his legacy and people will look at him differently. It doesn’t look like Foreman plans on paying the $12.5 million the women are requesting, so it’ll be interesting to see if this will go to court after all of these years.
