Jussie Smollett is still insisting that he did not make up the homophobic and racist attack that he claimed took place in Chicago because IF he did he would be a “total piece of s–t”. The actor dug his heels in Wednesday morning on Sway’s SiriusXM show talking about why he thinks he was screwed over in his court case.
The way he sees it, committing to such a terrible lie would be he’d exploited the pain and fears of both LGTBQ and black communities, and he boldly claimed, “I’m not that motherf***er.”
Of course, all of this means nothing when said in the face of the evidence presented in Cook County court in March when he was convicted and sentenced to 150 days in jail.

While he was in jail, he claimed that he didn’t eat and that fasting is something his family does to gain clarity… Ok? However, despite the 150-day sentence, Jussie had immediately asked the judge for bail and filed for an appeal.
Jussie says, “I have never in my life, at least in my adult life, been as clear of mind as I was for those 6-and-a-half days.”
What he didn’t give us clarity on was what would happen if his appeal fails and he has to go back to jail and finish out his sentence.
There’s no doubt in everyone’s mind that Jussie lied about the events that occurred that night, but what’s the most infuriating is his attitude towards it and claiming he did nothing wrong. He’s like my 5-year-old daughter getting in the cookie jar… All I hear is “nuh-uh!”
