Amanda Bynes is now making her own personal and financial decisions after a judge has officially ended her 9-year conservatorship battle. The judge issues the ruling on Monday saying that it was no longer required and today the official ruling was made.
David A. Esquibias, Bynes’ attorney said that Amanda appreciates the love and support from her fans and looks forward to completing her bachelor’s degree! The child star has high hopes and is setting her stars high as she returns to the world a free woman.

After being placed under conservatorship in 2013, it was clear that she was dealing with some mental health issues including a string of bizarre episodes like setting her neighbor’s driveway on fire which was later attributed to her bipolar disorder. Then, in February Bynes asked her mother to no longer serve as her conservator.
Amanda has been sober for several years now and looks to be doing very well! She is engaged to her fiance Paul Michael and got a degree from Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising!
On top of everything, her petition was supported by her parents so it’s no surprise the victory came easily. Though, it is still a huge win for the former child star.
She now plans on getting a place together with her fiancé and has plenty of goals for the future. This is a win for everyone involved and we look forward to seeing her flourish. We also wonder if this means she will return to the acting world, or if she’s had enough of that life. Only time will tell.
