Tyrese Gibson is praying for a miracle for his mother as she fights COVID-19 and pneumonia. He asked for his fans to pray for his family and revealed that his mother, Pricilla Murray was in a coma in the ICU.
“The Doctor sat in this chair and just broke my heart by telling me there’s pretty much nothing else that can be done to turn things around,” he captioned a photo of a hospital hallway on Wednesday.
He first broke the news last weekend explaining to his fans that she couldn’t breathe or even eat on her own. Gibson wrote, “I need prayers the most sincere prayers from you prayer warriors…. Hold on mother I’m there by your side in a few days.”

Unfortunately, he’s only able to spend 30 minutes at a time with her in her room, but gave her a pep talk the last time he saw her.
“Thank you, thank you for all your prayers. Every breath counts,” he said on Instagram. “I owe you guys. Let’s just hope that she gets out of this bed. Let’s hope that she can walk again. That she can talk again. I got so much more to do, Ma.”
We wish the best for his dear mother and pray she can pull through. It’s terrible that he can only be in there for 30 minutes at a time. Good luck to Gibson and Pricilla, we know you guys can do this. A devout believer in faith, Gibson has said that ‘Nothing is impossible for him [Jesus]’. If you are a believer, or even if you’re not, throw out some prayers for his mother, she could really use some right now.
