‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star and her estranged husband are facing a slew of legal troubles. Now theses controversies will take center stage in a new ABC News Originals documentary.
“The Housewife and the Hustler” will feature legal experts, comedians and other commentators speaking on the allegations of embezzlement and more against ex-lawyer Tom Girardi and his soon to be ex ‘Real Housewife’.

81 year old Girardi was a high powered Los Angeles lawyer, raking in the cash for himself and his clients. But the clients he represented, usually victims of accidents or the families of those who died due to another person’s negligence didn’t see the money awarded to them. Girardi claimed to have invested their winnings, yet no payments were made to the plaintiffs.
49 year old Erika Jayne recently filed for divorce from her husband who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and stripped of his license to practice law.
“The Housewife and the Hustler” is said to feature voicemail messages, court records and a never-before-aired deposition tape of Girardi. It is also speculated in the documentary that the pair staged their divorce amid Girardi’s legal troubles to, not only embezzle more money, but exonerate Jayne from any knowledge of the wrong doing.
In December, Tom and his law firm, Girardi & Keese (GK) had their assets frozen and were held in civil contempt. Directly afterwards Girardi’s business partners- Robert Keese, Robert Finnerty and Jill O’Callahan dissolved their venture with Girardi.
They also sued their ex-partner, claiming he never paid them approximately $315,000 in income and that he took out loans against their property without their knowledge for his “own personal gain, benefit and use.”
Jayne is currently being seen on season 11 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and previews have teased she will discuss the divorce and the allegations against both she and Girardi.
The Housewife and the Hustler will stream on Hulu from June 14 and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs on Bravo, Wednesdays at 9pm.
