‘Days of Our Lives (DOOL)’ (ex Sarah Horton) and ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (ex Caroline Spencer) alum, Linsey Godfrey is well known for speaking her truth. Earlier this year she posted a revealing video discussing her mental health status and her diagnoses. When rumors flew that she had left Days of Our Lives because of her mental health struggles, she was quick to set the record straight.

Linsey is also used to posting photos to her IG to ‘give them something to talk about’, like her intense weight lifting program!

The newest photo Linsey has posted to  her Instagram, posing with all the colors of the pride flag in her eye shadow, has been captioned with ✨?lgBtq???✨

She has also added rainbow flags to her bio and her pronouns- she/her.

Paul Telfer, who portrays Sarah Horton’s on screen love, Xander Kiriakis jumped into the comments with some rainbows and smiley emojis  in support of his ex co-star. Paul has a habit of being one of Linsey’s strongest supporters, always leaving positive comments on her posts. It’s actually super cute.

Days of our Lives has been exploring different types of sexuality on the show lately, with Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) explaining her fluid sexuality to her mother, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry). The show was also the first to ever air a same sex male wedding on a US daytime drama when Will Horton (Chandler Massey) married Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) in April 2014.

Meanwhile, when Linsey portrayed Caroline on the Bold and the Beautiful, she had two moms, the first lesbian couple on the show.

The Bold also covered brand new ground when  Maya Avant (Karla Mosley) was the first transgender woman to feature on a US daytime soap opera as a series regular. Maya was Caroline’s love rival, with Maya ultimately winning Rick Forrester’s (Jacob Young) heart, their wedding making Maya the first transgender bride to be married on a US daytime soap opera.

    Happy Pride month, Linsey.
