‘The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B)’ spoilers find that fans have their fingers crossed since news of Caroline Spencer (Lindsey Godfrey) departing from Salem and the Days of Our Lives set she has called home since 2018, broke. Could Linsey’s newly opened-up schedule mean she may return to her original soapy stomping grounds- as Caroline Spencer on B&B?
Yes, there is one glaring issue there, Caroline is dead- she died off screen in 2019 from a massive blood clot making room for Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and their son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Samir) to return from New York to Los Angeles, and back on our screens. But there is also a simple solution to such a problem: soap deaths don’t always stick.
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Is Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) Coming Back From the Dead?
Though you’d be more apt to find a Salemite back from the dead than one of L.A’s finest designers, it’s not unheard of for presumed dead characters to turn up at the Forrester mansion…sometimes looking a little different from the last time we saw them (death can do that to a person).
Caroline coming back to B&B in the coming months would actually be very on brand for her. Anytime Thomas has moved on with another woman (Sasha Thompson (Felisha Cooper) or Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) etc.), Caroline would pop back into town to cause some trouble for the couple.
If Thomas and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) aren’t being pushed together by the writers right now, well, then I don’t know my soaps at all. But, seeing as I do, it looks like an almost forgone conclusion that we will see all of Thomas’ dreams finally come true as he gets his dream woman (in the flesh, not the plastic this time).
We all know no couple is allowed to stay happy for long on B&B and what better wrench to throw in Hope’s relationship than the real mother of her adopted son, Douglas? Hope, being the poster child for throwing herself on the sword, would step aside for Douglas to be with both his parents in a heartbeat!
Of course, all of this is conjecture but if this storyline brings us not only Linsey back, but also the delightful, young Henry Samir, we are all for it. As for how Bradley Bell and his team would bring Caroline back from the dead? Well, that’s their job…but if they want to hit me up for further storylines…I’m here!
