ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that it looks like we have a new character who is about to enter the Port Charles canvas. Now that Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) is out of commission, Trina Robinson (Sidney Mikayla) is going to need some parental guidance so it looks like we will be meeting her Mom, Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr). Portia is kind of a mystery, no one knows anything about her aside from her being Trina’s Mother and a doctor. But where was she all this time?
I will admit, I have been watching GH for awhile but I have not been following the development of Trina’s character that closely. If we have previously seen Portia before this then I must say I do not recall her ever showing up on the Port Charles landscape before. I did not realize Trina had a Mom, if she did I thought that we may have already seen her in some unimportant scene but apparently not.

Now we are set to find out that Trina’s Mom. Does she work at GH or is she busy working at another hospital? After all, there a couple more hospitals in the area besides GH, including the one up at Pentonville where Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is housed. Could she have been working there all this time? I mean just where on earth has she been? Probably hasn’t been on the scene too long because Trina’s actress, Sidney Mikayala just became a contract player in 2019 and I know it was stated that Trina had a home before that but where were her parents specifically?
Looks like Kerr’s first airdate will be on March 5th, and if you recognize her then you probably know her from the former NBC soap Passions. Apparently back in the day she played Whitney Russell, the daughter of Eve and T.C. Russell, who apparently was accused of marrying her half-brother but not to worry that was quickly remedied when such a rumor was proven not to be true. (Thank God, that would’ve been eternally squicky) As for Dr. Portia Robinson, we really have no idea what sort of character she is or what sort of secrets she has, how did she get involved with Taggert and are they married or…? Guess we’ll find out. Stay tuned!!!
