Netflix La Casa de Papel spoilers (Money Heist) spoilers reveal there’s exciting news for one of its stars. The Netflix series, which will release its fourth season on April 3rd, is a massive hit. That is surely helping the actors outside the series. One in particular is about to take on Hollywood. Here’s what you need to know.

Netflix La Casa de Papel Spoilers: ‘80s fave retuns

Úrsula Corberó, who plays Tokyo on the series, is heading to the big screen. She’s joined the cast of Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, a new addition to the G.I. Joe movie franchise.

The movies are based on the classic cartoon that featured an elite team of good guys fighting evil. In particular, they work to defeat the plans of terrorist organization Cobra. The series of live-action films has already had two entries so far. One featured former Doctor Who star Christopher Eccleston as Destro. So, who will Corberó play?

Netflix La Casa de Papel Spoilers: Meet the Baroness

She’ll be playing a villain named The Baroness. This cunning character is a perfect fit for an actress who’s known for her role as a thief. She’s already shown she can her talent for being bad, as well as having other dimensions. She’s also got a great presence on screen, something critical for playing a strong bad girl. On the original cartoon, the character had a love for one of her fellow bad guys, but she wasn’t above doing whatever it takes to survive—or get revenge over a slight.

Netflix La Casa de Papel Spoilers: Familiar story

The love angle shouldn’t be hard at all. La Casa de Papel spoilers reveal Tokyo is in a relationship with one of her fellow crooks, Río (Miguel Herrán). That relationship led her to go off-script to protect her man, and she didn’t make apologies for it.

Recently, we watched Tokyo reveal more of her past. A pre-heist scene showed her and Río getting close during a stakeout of their intended target. She insisted she was fine to go on the assignment after  learning her mother died, but it turned out to be a lie. She eventually fell apart, despite their bad relationship. Her mother was ready to sell her out to the cops. Unfortunately, this led to a mistake that came back to bite the thieves later on.

Netflix La Casa de Papel Spoilers: The mistake

We don’t see the Baroness losing track of time and getting a parking ticket on the car they used to plan the crime. That aspect should make an interest contrast for the actress. Of course, this could all be a moot point. This is a remake movie, after all. It’s possible the character could be a far cry from the original. The one thing that gives a bit of hope is, the actress shared a picture of her cartoon alter ego on Instagram. Is this a hint at staying try to the source material for this latest movie, or just a random choice? Time will tell.
