‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers find Donna Corinthos home, while Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) checks in with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is impressed with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) generous nature, while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has some explaining to do, the hearing is on, and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is thrown. If you missed it, let’s catch up on some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Checking in
Bobbie and Carly get a chance to chat while they wait for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) to make Donna’s release official. She wants to know how Carly is doing. Carly says her incision is healing just fine, but that’s not what Bobbie means. She wants to know how Carly’s doing emotionally. It was a hard pregnancy and a lot of stress. Carly is grateful for the concern. She assures Bobbie that she’s okay. Mostly just nervous and excited to have the baby home, but she’s not noticing any postpartum symptoms.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Impressed
At the Corinthos home, Michael is busy preparing a homecoming party when Joss arrives. She picks on him a bit about his sing hanging abilities and snaps a couple pictures to document that. They are so awesome together. True brother/sister bond. Anyway, Michael does get her to help finish up before something catches her eye.
The cup Michael bought his own son is on the table. He says that he has decided to give it to their new sister and allow her to have the tradition he’d hoped to start with his own son. Josslyn Jacks is touched and thinks he is very selfless to do that. She’s also impressed with how well he handles his own grief. He counters it’s the result of time and a lot of counseling. It’s also from focusing on spending time with those he loves. Joss says her teacher told her something like that as well.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Welcome home
This talk is eventually interrupted by the welcome home. Everyone dotes over the baby, and they’re appreciative of Michael’s gift. Joss is all in on the celebration and even takes lead when Avery comes out to meet her little sister.
This has not gone unnoticed by Carly. She mentions all this to Joss, who explains she’s been journaling. It’s helping her make sense of a lot, and she’d actually like to document today with some quotes from everyone. Carly is looking at her strangely a moment, but it’s just her admiring the fact Joss is smiling again.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Hi, Daddy
Finn is totally blown away to learn his new patient is Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig)—and his—daughter. He composes himself enough to go in and talk to the child, as well as help get her temperature down. You can tell that he’s clearly affected by all this, and that Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) notices. After chatting with the child and promising her they’re going to help her feel better soon, he speaks with Hayden. He tells her that he will not be actually treating the child, as there is a policy against someone treating their own kid. He wants to know why he is just meeting his own daughter now.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Hard talk
Also having to deal with hard questions is Jason. He and Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) are out when the subject of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) comes up. He wants to know how long mom will be gone, since they’re spending the week at the Quartermaine house. Jason decides to confront things head-on and tells Danny the truth about where Sam is. He explains someone lied about something that caused this, but Jason will prove Sam is innocent.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Hearing drama
Meanwhile, the hearing is going on. It’s sort of a mixed bag. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is providing all the DNA and legal documentation that Frankendrew (Roger Howarth) is actually Franco Baldwin. He also has Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) attesting to Franco’s hero status. He’d not only risked his life to catch Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), but he did the same for Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Meanwhile, the other side is going on about Drew Cain’s (Billy Miller) military heroism, and his right to identify as the person he believes himself whole-heartedly to be. Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) also calls Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) into question by bringing up how she once kept Drew Cain in the dark about things because she’d feared he was Jason—someone who already had a wife and kid—so she can keep him for herself. This is gonna get ugly.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Bad idea
Speaking of this whole mess, Jason gets the chance to discuss it with Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), who is team Frankendrew. She wants the chance to learn about Drew’s childhood and teen years, something she’d been denied. Jason isn’t so sure this is a good idea, but there doesn’t appear to be any stopping her.
Later on, Jason is surprised to find out he is also being called to speak at this hearing. We figured that would happen as soon as Martin saw him in Frankendrew’s room.
