We all know she’s been busy trying to find a missing codicil that could destroy Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) by returning his fortune to the rightful Cassadine heir. So far, she’s been making huge progress. Much more than Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) did. She’s even doing more than Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). But there’s always a chance for a slip up.

In the Wednesday, October 30th episode, she decides to talk shop with Jax at a Halloween party. She fills him in on how she and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) believe the painting could actually be housing the codicil itself. She believes it makes sense, as the picture was left to the very person the fortune should have gone to. Well, until Valentin killed him. Then there is the history of the artist. Jax is intrigued, but Valentin happens to overhear her mention the painting. This leads to a tense confrontation. She explains her obsession with it away, claiming it wasn’t his to dispose of. But does he believe it?

Valentin is clearly not taking that excuse at face value. He gets this strange look on his face before leaving. Later on, he tells Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that he thinks the painting is more valuable than he knew. Those wheels are turning, and we’re curious to see what’s next. It’s clear that this whole issue is only just beginning, and we’re betting Valentin isn’t going to come out on top.
