‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers of late have revealed that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) isn’t as reformed as he would like everyone to believe—or would like to believe himself. After masterminding a huge conspiracy to hide his involvement in the events in Afghanistan years ago, he’s going dark. Very dark. Apparently, the character is not the only one exploring the dark side of life. Here’s what you need to know.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Center stage
Wes Ramsey has been doing a good job of playing Peter’s dark side. He looks and acts every bit the scheming villain as he does his best to get ahead of his past. He’s going to some very dark places in the process. He’s lying to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), plotting murders, and framing innocent women (Sam McCall, played by Kelly Monaco). But it seems some of that dark side Peter’s showing isn’t all acting.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: New project
Wes Ramsey recently announced in an Instagram post that he has a new project coming out. It’s nothing to do with acting, though. The project is a poetry collection. Titled, Into the Black, the description he shared on his account promises a bit of a dark read, as he will explore life’s struggles in poetry. Putting a positive spin on things, though, it also promises that these works will explore how these struggles can actually be great gifts.

‘General Hospital’ spoilers: The collection
These poems are said to be written between 2002 and 2007, and will be the actor’s second collection. Fans who are looking to see this other side to the actor can pick up a copy at his website when it’s released. It’s scheduled to drop on October 31st. What better way to mark a day that many see as a day of reflection and remembrance, right? According to his post, the image comes from ABC Soaps in Depth, which counted his book among their holiday gift guide.
‘General Hospital’ spoilers: Support system
He’s not out there pimping this book out alone. His real-life love, Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) also posted about the project. She retweeted his announcement on her own account. The couple has been very vocal about supporting each other and showing appreciation on Twitter. When Laura recently injured herself, she posted more than once about how helpful and supportive Wes was during her recovery. Here’s wishing them luck with his new venture.
