General Hospital (GH) Spoilers reveal that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is having a mid-life crisis, Ava Jerome (Maura West) has an important date, and the meaning of DNA in the Ashford family. If you missed your General Hospital spoilers for the day, let’s catch you up on the highlights.
General Hospital Recap: Scott Baldwin Blindsides Bobbie!
Scott seems to be having a hard time today. He approaches Ava and tries to talk to her about Gail Baldwin (Susan Brown), but she’s got a lot of other stuff on her mind today and doesn’t give him the attention he clearly needed. She does pay enough attention, at least, to realize that Scott might be having a mid-life crisis. She actually suggests he get a fancy car, and we roll our eyes so hard that they’re still hurting. Way to embrace the cliché.
Later on, Scott is even more pensive as Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) personally invites Scott to the wedding celebration. He wanted to do it that way, because he clearly doesn’t have much faith in dad’s ability to properly record the date. We love their chemistry together. It feels like a genuine relationship.
Having been reminded of his son’s luck in love, and his lack of anyone to go to the party with, doesn’t help the crisis any. He’s leaving when he runs into Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman). Clearly seeing the answer to the sudden emptiness he’s feeling, he actually ends up proposing to her. The look on her face is absolutely priceless, but we’re sort of low-key hoping that she doesn’t turn him down. The poor guy looks like he needs a break right now.
General Hospital spoilers: Facing the music
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) steps into it big time today. Following a relaxing family breakfast with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry), and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson-Johnson), he’s left alone with the women in the family. This is where it turns bad. He announces that he won’t be going back to med school for a while, and will instead take a position offered by a headhunter. Um… TJ is aware that mom is supposed to be relaxing, right? Judging by the look on her face and her response, we’re guessing that blood pressure skyrocked big time.
Stella’s not taking the news any better, and TJ is probably wishing he’d never said a word. Not that it matters. After deducing this move is more about saving mom money, Jordan insists Curtis’ new gig and that she’s returning to work before long will be more than enough to cover the bills. She outright refuses to let him put his medical career on hold, and Stella agrees. After all, DNA in that family means “Do not argue.”
Speaking of DNA, mention is made of the test Stella had done, as well as the possibility of following up on getting info out of the test.

General Hospital spoilers: Contract breach
Speaking of people in trouble, Ava almost gets herself sued today. She stops by Jasper Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) office today to inform him the interview is off. When he reminds her of the contract, she clarifies that she just has to reschedule. Jax can’t even. He reminds her that there’s a lot of planning involved in cover features, and she can’t just randomly reschedule last second. Eventually, she explains that she is going to be meeting a psychic today to get into contact with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). She informs Jax that there are legit people out there, and besides, his daughter gave her the idea. Showing he’s got a heart, Jax lets her get away with rescheduling—this time. If she tries it again, they’ll be meeting in court.
Their argument, by the way, is witnessed by Curtis. He’s on the job officially and checking out Jax’s office. Later, he gets alone time in the space and goes through Jax’s files. He finds information on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) in there, as well as other allies and competitors. Curtis is about to snap pics of the info when he has to abort the mission before Jax catches him. The other name we see is Casandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck).
General Hospital spoilers: Baby woes
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) spends a lot of the episode stressing about the baby and whether or not they can handle a child with a severe defect. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) tells her to lay off the online searches and not to get ahead of herself. They aren’t going to know how severe it will be until closer to the birth, and there’s a good chance the child will only have mild problems.
Carly isn’t going to stop stressing all together any time soon, but Sonny’s assurances they’ll stick together and handle whatever comes their way seems to help.
General Hospital spoilers: Bonding
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) bond over their women. Chase is worried about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) still being in lockup, while Finn isn’t happy that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is off chasing after her sister, who’s somehow managed to get free. During the talk, he brings up their past with the afore-mentioned Cassandra. Before the episode ends, we see someone booking a flight to Port Charles.
