The youtube vlogging family ‘8 Passengers’ recently put up a vlog called “A Month in Quarantine” that has a lot of people up in arms. It seems that these people were celebrating getting COVID. Yes, that’s right, celebrating.
The Dad, Kevin, was the first to get diagnosed and he promptly got called a “Loser” by his immediate family, which is just the kind of message you want your child to perpetuate, that Dad’s a loser because he got exposed to a potentially deadly virus and is in very real danger of dying.

Yes, that’s the proper protocol right there. They then proceeded to toss things at their Dad, and then the Mom announced that Dad would now be quarantining by moving into a tent in the back yard.
Yes, in spite of this family having a pretty big house and maybe one of them sleeping on the couch or perhaps clearing out one of the rooms in the family home and letting Dad sleep on an air mattress or a futon or heck, even an recliner, they opted to force Dad out into the back yard.
Then again, this isn’t the first time this family has done inhumane things, after all, they made their oldest son go 8 months without a bed simply for pranking his younger brother. So it comes as no surprise that they would toss their Dad out like day old trash and let him sleep on the cold, hard, ground while he has a potentially deadly virus. I mean, at least we know that in this family there’s no discrimination whatsoever.
Of course the Mom suggested that the family all share a communal cup in order to ‘get COVID’ so that the Dad wouldn’t have to quarantine but thankfully, Dad put a stop to that, he said if they were going to get it it would ‘just happen’.
Then the next day the daughter screamed, “I tested positive!” like she had just gotten into her first choice college. Then she smiled all the way through texting her entire volleyball team, whom she had previously been exposed to, that they would have to start quarantining because they were all exposed. She said she felt bad but you can’t prove it by the smile on her face.
What kind of narcississts are we raising, here?
When she described her symptoms she said that the only thing she felt was a headache and sore throat but it’s pretty clear to see that she wasn’t in the most at-risk demographic for the life-threatening symptoms.
A few days later, the Mom got it, followed by what can only be assumed the oldest brother, who honestly, has had enough problems in his life without getting a potentially life-threatening virus. The bad thing is, this family not only did not end up practicing any sort of quarantine within the family but practically celebrated the fact that they all had the virus.
I’m not saying that their audience is impressionable because I seriously don’t think that, but the way they’re handling things in the middle of a pandemic that has over 200,000 casualties is rather flippant, and disrespectful.
But I guess it’s anything for the views, eh? Not that it’s helped them, so far their video has gotten over 8,000 dislikes on youtube. Provided one, or all of the entire family doesn’t end up on the casualty list (and let’s hope they don’t), who is going to want to sponsor them after seeing their attitude towards covid?
No sponsor in their right mind is going to want to come after that, so if the Mom is the genius behind this youtube channel then she seriously needs to rethink her priorities. We’ll keep you updated. Stay tuned!!!
