Man, in its haste to dump products, Morphe really trolled Jeffree Star good. In the past, Jeffree Star has been known to throw shade at makeup brands who end up in TJ Maxx or other discount stores. He has often said that one of his makeup pallettes would never end up there and if you saw any of his makeup there then chances are it was stolen from his warehouse and being sold illegally.
Now, granted that actually did happen to some of his lipsticks in the past, but that was before Morphe deemed him way too problematic to be associated with and dumped him.

You guessed it, Jeffree’s collab with Shane Dawson, Conspiracy, along with all of the other Morphe products that they are desperate to get out of their warehouse before the clock strikes midnight on January 1st. Just in time for the holidays, folks, you two can own those overpriced, expensive cosmetics that you’ve seen touted by your favorite youtube gurus!

I find it funny that the buyers chose TJ Maxx specifically since Jeffree had previously thrown so much shade a it. I have a feeling whichever buyer did that had probably talked to Jeffree Star personally before and this was far more of a personal dig than just the average ‘business as usual’ clearance drive that companies pull when they have overstock of certain products.
Of course, no one at Morphe or TJ Maxx has actually come forward and said that, and they won’t, but we get it and we heavily appreciate the irony. In all honesty, Jeffree could use a little humble pie, it doesn’t hurt his products or his bottom line one bit to end up on discount store shelves, in fact it might help introduce him to an entirely different demographic, seeing as now his MO seems to be releasing sub-par makeup, if his mini Orgy pallette is anything to go by.
I mean, if this kind of production keeps up then he might just change his tune about being in TJ Maxx, if that’s the only store that will accept him. Stay tuned!!!
