Oh James, will you ever learn how not to get cancelled in this life? Back in May, James Charles released a line of really pastel, tye-dye merch called “The Sisterland Collection” and it was so popular among his stans that it literally sold out within 3 minutes.
This happened on May 14th, and since the they sold out in 3 minutes, James Charles came onto twitter to announce that the store would restock on pre-order at 1PM that day. He said that the items that were pre-ordered would take longer to arrive than the ones that they had already had in stock that sold out in three minute, okay we kind of understand that.

However, it is now September and the people that have pre-ordered their merchandise still haven’t recieved it. Almost four months, eh James?
When confronted by a user on twitter, saying that the whole thing felt like it could have been a pre-planned move in order to seem like he had sold out in 3 minutes. The almost immediate ‘restock on pre-order’ had people suspicious.
However James said that it wasn’t planned, but that he hadn’t had a new sisters merch launch in over 6 months, so he didn’t think that ‘the hype would be that strong’ and therefore did not order enough merch to fulfill his fans’ orders.
A month passes and on June 13th he finally responds and tells his fans that they are still working to get all of their orders out and that now his team will be fully prepared for another relaunch. There will be no more pre-orders, only orders of things that they have in stock this time.
He said that because the collection is dyed by hand and that they didn’t think the launch would be that big of a deal, that they underestimated how long the merch would take to actually make. Therefore, some items are probably still being hand-dyed by James’ team.
However, this is kind of ridiculous, it’s September and people should have received their items by now. Although, doing this in the middle of covid probably didn’t help matters, I’m just saying. Now people are calling for refunds, and there have been no answers from customer service on where the sisterland merch is as well.
The Sistersapparel instagram account is filled with bad feedback now and it’s been almost five months, so when will James learn how not to get cancelled? We’ll see, won’t we? Stay tuned!!!
