It’s never a slow news day these days. Willow Smith, daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith has opened up about her views on love and relationships. She has come out as polyamorous on a new episode of ‘Red Table Talk’.
The 20-year-old musician told her mother and grandmother that monogamy often leads to hearing and prefers to be in open relationships.
Willow Smith spoke about it at the table, saying,
“With polyamory, I feel like the main foundation is the freedom to be able to create a relationship style that works for you and not just [to be] stepping into monogamy because that’s what everyone around you says is the right thing to do. So I was like, how can I structure the way that I approach relationships with that in mind? Also, doing research into polyamory, the main [reason] …why divorces happen is infidelity.”

Willow’s mother Jada was completely on board, while her grandmother had a hard time wrapping her head around the idea. Jada and Will Smith have had their own issues in the past. Just last year Jada opened up about how she cheated on Will when they were together openly on the show and Will just sat there and people could tell he was hurt.
If anything, we can probably all agree that no matter how much we love Will Smith and his films, his family seems to be a bit crazy. Of course, we all have different opinions and that’s the beauty of the open society we live in.
