Harry has sold out his own family to make a buck and for the love of a woman who, when she couldn’t insinuate herself in the royal family, pouted, crossed her arms, stomped her feet, and left.
William Has Been Urged to Make the First Move and Reconcile With Harry
William has been urged not only to reconcile with his brother but also to make the first move. That doesn’t exactly fly with William. Harry is the one who revealed all the royal family’s secrets in his tell-all book, “Spare,” including the altercation between William and Harry that turned physical.
According to Harry, Prince William tossed him into the dog bowl, leaving cuts all over his body. What were they fighting about? The fight was about Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle. Let’s all put on our big surprise faces.
There is so much turmoil because of one woman, and it doesn’t seem right. Harry and William had a solid relationship before all this. The source of contention between them in recent years has been the Duke’s relationship with the Duchess of Sussex.
Harry also described his feelings about being the spare, not the heir to the throne. He said he felt as if he was only born in case something happened to William. He lamented that he felt that William was treated better in the family and that he was the family screw-up.
“Harry and Meghan” chronicled the Sussexes’ love story and was also quite upsetting since they capitalized on the royal family all throughout their fluffy Netflix docuseries.
To expect William to be the one to come to Harry is foolish. William and Kate’s friends say that they may be open to it if Harry wants to make amends. However, Harry would need to issue a sincere, heartfelt apology. It wouldn’t work any other way.
Why Would Prince William Make the Time?
This past week, when Harry made his way to the UK to see his father, people were wondering if William would extend an olive branch to his brother.
Rumors were swirling that they would see each other and possibly reconcile, but none of that was true. Harry went on a 24-hour flight round trip to the UK from California to visit with his father for roughly 45 minutes. Then he left to fly back home.
And why would Prince William, who is busy taking care of his children, Princes George, Louis, Princess Charlotte, and his wife, who is recovering from abdominal surgery, take the time to meet with his estranged brother who never once apologized or showed remorse for trashing his family?
Not to mention, Harry’s absence from the royal family means that his brother must work extra hard to maintain the monarchy, and the royal duties fall solely on him since his father is recovering from cancer treatment.
Harry should be there to help his brother, but instead, the monarchy is extraordinarily low on working members.
Even King Charles wanted to keep his meeting with Harry brief to avoid unnecessary stress. The royal family’s rift is far from over, and it doesn’t appear that this will change any time soon.
