Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could have had the power and respect they desperately wanted if they had remained in the UK. The Sussexes started out enacting positive change within the monarchy.
Queen Elizabeth Saw Potential in Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Queen Elizabeth made Harry the President of the Commonwealth of Trust, an organization that helps young people in Commonwealth countries, and Meghan was appointed Vice President.
The couple were so fresh and inspiring at first and seemed to genuinely want to participate as working royals and offer a more modern twist to the royal family.
Harry and Meghan were perfect for the monarchy until they decided they didn’t want to try anymore. They left the UK and moved to California without so much as giving their true calling an honest chance.
It appears that since they were not going to be King and Queen one day, they decided not to pursue their lives within the structure of the royal family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could have set themselves apart and lived in one of the nations they were so wide-eyed, wondered, and curious about, like New Zealand or Africa, as they had many opportunities in these places.
They may have had the same curiosity during their recent trip to Jamacia to see the premiere of the Bob Marley movie, “One Love.”
Who knows? Jamaica’s desire to sever its ties with the British monarchy may have seemed appealing to them.
They could be contemplating moving somewhere they may have a shot at getting some favorable publicity. Harry and Meghan have squandered away their chance to make a difference in other nations.
The Monarchy is in Need of Working Royals
The people of Jamacia have welcomed the couple with open arms. It would only be natural for the Sussexes to consider making a fresh start elsewhere.
Harry has blown any chance of reconciling with the royal family, and he is grasping at straws. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t hope for someday finishing what he started.
William and Kate were going to be the ones to focus on the UK, whereas Harry and Meghan would be free to travel to other countries and represent the royal family that way.
King Charles is getting on in years, and with his recent health issues, he may not be able to tolerate traveling much longer.
Kate recently had abdominal surgery and will not be able to return to work until Easter. Prince Andrew is laying low after the horrifying Jeffrey Epstein scandal in which he has been accused of sexual assault.
The monarchy needs royals to step up and perform certain duties that may otherwise not be performed. With Charles and Kate out of commission, the monarchy is presented with a problem.
Not enough royals are working to meet the requirements of the Firm. This situation is where Harry and Meghan would have done quite nicely.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had the chance to be involved in meaningful, purposeful work. Instead, they have been named “f***ing grifters” and parodied on South Park and Family Guy. Somewhere deep down, they must be regretting their decision.
