‘Welcome to Plathville‘ Spoilers may habe just wrapped its third season but life goes on for the Plath family. In particular, Micah Plath has started documenting his LA journey over on instagram. For the longest time we thought that Micah would be moving to Tallahassee with the rest of the Plaths, that was before the whole idea of Tampa got brought up.
After Ethan, Olivia, and Moriah Plath mentioned that they were headed southbound to Tampa, Micah decided that the best place for him was out in sunny LA. The only real reason he gave for it is that Ethan, Olivia, Moriah, and her boyfriend Max Kall seemed to be “headed towards a permanent couples’ retreat” and Micah said that he “didn’t want to get in the middle of that” if it didn’t end well.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Micah Plath documents his big move out to LA
One can definitely understand where Micah may be feeling like a bit of a fifth wheel, surrounded by couples all the time. He also said that he wanted to try living on his own and doesn’t seem all that keen on settling down quite yet. Honestly, Micah is 20 years old and in the prime of life, there’s no real reason for him to want to settle down right now.
He wants to play the field and that is a perfectly healthy thing for him to want to do at his age. Also, being a few thousand miles away from one’s family makes one a bit bolder in one’s choices. Maybe Micah wants to really explore some modeling and acting gigs that he knew he wouldn’t be able to fully embrace if he stayed in Georgia.
Of course, people are worried for Micah’s safety, thinking that he might get taken advantage of in a place like LA simply because of his unassuming country boy nature, but they may just be underestimating Micah. After all, it takes a pretty cunning individual not to shout it from the rooftops that they were making such a huge, life-changing move to such a big city.
Micah saw the situation wasn’t going to be what he wanted so he got the heck out of dodge. He says so far that his time in LA has been quite the adjustment and that he isn’t quite used to the price of gas out there or the process of making new friends, but says its all part of looking at life from a different perspective. It’s obvious that Micah was ready for this move, we’re confident he’ll do just fine. Stay tuned!!!
