‘Welcome to Plathville’ Spoilers tells that, recently, Moriah Plath’s boyfriend posted on his own social media about two things that weren’t show on Welcome to Plathivlle. One post was about he and Moriah hanging out with his roommates and throwing axes for fun(!!) and the other was about his family and the Plath family actually getting to meet.
He had nothing but good things to say about the Plaths, which might surprise a few people, especially those that have railed against Kim and Barry Plath’s oddly strict parenting style, but but that really didn’t seem to come into play when the two families met.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Did Max Kall inadvertently cause drama for Olivia Plath?
One follower of Olivia Plath’s noticed this however and proceeded to, in a post that Olivia called a “virtual coffee date” praise Max, saying that they were part of the ‘Plath Parent Support Squad’ and that it wasn’t all about Olivia’s feelings and there were more to the Plaths than just how Olivia felt about them.
Okay, fair point, but they were making the comment on Olivia’s IG page. Olivia wasn’t having it though, and was quick to shut that down, saying that Max, nor anyone else was allowed to diminish her feelings about all matters Plath, some followers quickly jumped to her defense as well, one of them even going so far as to call the original commentor a bully.
So, did Max mean to cause drama for his prospective future sister-in-law? I think we can safely say that no, Max did not mean to cause drama for her at all. He was just posting his experience. Also, of course Moriah’s boyfriend is going to be accepted differently by the Plaths because they already had a villain – that was Olivia!
Also, it was said last year that Kim and Barry had essentially given up on both Moriah and Micah and considered them “lost”, so when it comes to dating and such, of course their significant others would be accepted differently.
Olivia was the wife of their firstborn son, and Ethan Plath, from what we can tell, had never questioned the Plath’s authority on anything before, causing him to be a favorite.
So when he got married and started questioning things – of course they were going to automatically choose a villain, and in this scenario that happened to be Olivia, but we have reason to believe that it would have been any outside influence that made Ethan question the lifestyle at all.
If Plathville is indeed picked up for a 4th season (no announcements have been made yet) then we might get to see this play out with Lydia.
Right now, Lydia Plath has played it safe, her crush seems to be a youth pastor which honestly seems safe enough in Plathville. But if her attention wavers from this one boy, or if she ends up dropping this guy and falling for someone who the Plaths don’t approve of? Watch out, we’ll see the side of Kim and Barry that only Olivia has seen. Stay tuned!!!
