Comedian Louie Anderson has passed at the age of 68 due to complications with cancer. He was in a hospital in Las Vegas surrounded by his family and loved ones. It’s an unfortunate loss of not just a great comedian but a great person. Before his big break came on Johnny Carson, Anderson had worked as a counselor for troubled teens.
After winning a comedy competition in Minnesota in 1981, his career quickly started blossoming and with multiple films, television shows and comedy specials under his belt, be became a household name in 1999 when he began hosting ‘Family Feud’.

Something about him and his style, especially his role in Baskets. I keep telling people what an awesome job he did in that and that you could really feel the pain and disappointment the “Mom” was, really sad, really bummed. Rest In Peace Louie, a fan for life.”, “Growing up with Louie Anderson hysterically relating to his jokes about his family, especially his mom. I had the pleasure of seeing him in person, I laughed until it hurts. Thank you for the laughs Mr. Anderson, rest well.” and “So glad you were recognized for the massive talent that you were.
