DC Police recently were tipped off that there could be a biohazard in the home of Lauren Handy. Who is Lauren Handy you ask? An Anti-abortion activist with the organization Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising or PAAU who was previously charged with barricading a clinic so that patients could not get inside on Oct. 22, 2020.
The organization claimed that it was actively preventing women from “murdering their children”. However, it would seem that Ms. Handy either doesn’t think the law applies to her or has some scary connections at some local area abortion clinic because the biohazard that was found in her home were five aborted fetuses.
She kept five aborted fetuses in her home in coolers.
It is unclear as to how the fetuses were discovered, but it was said by law enforcement that the fetuses were aborted in accordance with DC law. It is even more unclear how on earth Handy got access to what would normally be considered biohazardous material without proper medical clearance.

Speculation says that she had to have some sort of inside connection in order to even gain access to these kinds of things, or at least one would hope that’s the case. Again, that is only speculation. As for Handy’s reaction to the cops being called?
She seemed pretty non-chalant about the whole thing and said that she “expected” the police raid “at some point” and also, while she didn’t exactly elaborate on what was in the coolers so as not to incriminate herself, she did say that people would “freak out” when they discovered what was inside.
Geeze, ya think?!
It does beg an important question though, if Ms. Handy was such an anti-abortion advocate then why on earth, if she did truly consider these fetuses “children” as her organization referred to them, then why on earth did she hang onto them and not try and give them, say, a proper burial?
It seems unspeakably horrific to just keep a collection of what one considers to be “murdered children” around, especially in coolers like they were a six pack of one’s favorite beverage or a slab of meat. What on earth was she actually trying to accomplish? According to DC investigators, this is an ongoing investigation. We’ll be following this one. Stay tuned!!!
