A lot of people are saying just that after Jason Nash got engaged to a woman 19 years his junior, Nivine Jay, who gained fame on the celebrity dating app Raya after rejecting Ben Affleck. It would seem that she decided that the Hollywood life wasn’t for her and decided to go the influencer route instead.
Okay, fair, but this engagement is coming out of left field for practically everyone because no one knew that Jason Nash even had a girlfriend! Granted, just because someone is famous doesn’t mean that they owe everyone an explanation of what they do with their lives, Nash is free to have any kind of partner he wants without telling anyone at all. That doesn’t mean that people won’t be asking questions though.
Jason Nash gets engaged
We have to wonder what, if anything, Tana Mongeau will have to say about this new development considering their recent beef with one another at the Babylon film premiere after the Doughbrik’s grand opening.
She and Nash were apparently sniping at each other the entire time, with Nash siding with David Dobrik over Jeff Wittek in spite of Tana’s previous claims that he and some other members of the vlog squad had claimed that they did miss Jeff. Of Jason’s new bride-to-be, there really isn’t that much information available about her.
Besides rejecting Ben Affleck, her profile seems to say that she is an actor. Unlike other people in the entertainment industry however, her Instagram is private so we don’t actually know much about her beyond the fact that she is an actress that one belong to the dating app Raya and that she made her claim to fame by rejecting Ben Affleck.
Will getting married to Jason Nash change that status from private to public, though? Will she possibly become vlog squad adjacent now? You have to wonder.
Granted, marrying Jason Nash still provides her with a modicum of privacy because unlike Ben Affleck only certain people recognize Jason Nash for who he actually is and influencers generally lead lots more normal lives compared to Hollywood A-Listers. But you have to wonder if she will try her own hand at the influencer thing now. We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
