Univision Imperio de mentiras spoilers reveal Renata Cantú Robles de Arizmendi (Susana González) has been a favorite of ours through the show. In fact, we sort of consider her the real protagonista of this story.

Tonight will see her coming to a horrible realization, although we don’t see it actually being the true story. Let’s take a look at what’s ahead and give a quick update.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Memories

So, Imperio de mentiras spoilers indicate Renata makes a huge confession. She tells Elisa Cantú Robles (Angelique Boyer) that she believes she might have killed Augusto Cantú (Enrique Singer) and Julia Álvarez Sandoval (Jessica Decote).

She’s begun to have certain memories of the night they lost their lives, and we guess they point nowhere good. Actually, the scene between her and Fernanda Navarro (Michelle González) made us wonder about that.

It felt like there was definitely something Fer was hinting at, but she didn’t want to come out and say it. But it looks like things won’t be as easy as all that. See, Victoria Robles de Cantú (Leticia Calderón) will confirm to Renata she didn’t kill anyone.

Now, this is where we’re confused. We had a feeling right from the beginning something was up with Victoria that night.

However, if she’s the guilty one, we can’t see her actually admitting that. Even if it was to help one of her daughters. After all, she’s the one who basically had her grandchild aborted and her daughter sterilized against her will. Plus, Victoria’s been more than willing to overlook the Eugenio Serrano’s (Alejandro Camacho) behavior.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Where’s this going?

So, where is all this going? This show started decent and really took a dive. However, with a couple of elements like what we talked about above, it looks like things could be going up from here. We hope.

We’d love to have some big, shocking reveal as to the real murderer, because right now, we’re leaning toward Victoria. One fan pointed out her character wasn’t as prominent in the original Turkish story, plus the actress is apparently a big deal in the genre.

Those two things point to her possibly being the ultimate villain, but we almost don’t want to see that. It wouldn’t be a shock, as we suspected her from episode 1 or 2. She’d been out that night in her car, and her husband having an affair would be great motive.

We’d rather it turn out to be someone totally unexpected and have little moments throughout the show fall into place for such a reveal. It might redeem some of this show, but we’re also not exactly counting on that. We’ve been let down too often already.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers: Update

As for the current suspect, José Luis Velasco Rodríguez (Hernán Mendoza), we’re thinking he isn’t the one, either. There was something in that scene between him and Darío Ramírez (Iván Arana) that struck us as off.

Like he’s not a remorseful murderer who was forced to take out someone. More like he’s a terrified person who’s in over his head. He went out of his way to keep Darío from getting himself into huge trouble after learning about María José “Majo” Cantú Robles’ (Alejandra Robles Gil) attack.
