Univision Imperio de mentiras spoilers for January 19th reveal José Luis Velasco Rodríguez (Hernán Mendoza) made a huge sacrifice, and we’re a bit surprised that we need to give him some credit. We’re also shocked he’s in tonight’s, which we’ll get into in a moment.

Plus, Elisa Cantú Robles (Angelique Boyer) is at least somewhat awake, while we get to see more drama between her and Leonardo “Leo” Velasco Rodríguez (Andrés Palacios). Yes, we’re excited, too. Except, not. Let’s talk what’s ahead and give a little update.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers For January 19: Truth time

First, Imperio de mentiras spoilers indicate we thought José Luis is questioned by Leo. This leads Leo to discover a truth that could put his relationship with Elisa at risk.

We assume José Luis will confess everything he’s done while working with Eugenio Serrano (Alejandro Camacho). He was ordered to take full responsibility, so we sort of expect Eugenio’s hands to be clean.

Here’s the thing—we aren’t sure it will work out that way, due to another spoiler for tonight. Either way, we think this is going to be a tough scene between the two brothers, and might just be one of the better moments.

As for the surprise, we’re shocked he’s actually alive to be questioned. See, we saw him beg for help to see Leslie Velasco (Assira Abbate) one more time. It looked as though he were preparing to follow orders at first.

Until he pulled a gun out and put it under his chin. They didn’t show anything, but we did hear a gunshot a little bit after as Leo returned to the home.

So, we figured he was taking the out that would maybe let Leslie still hold on to her pride in him being a great cop. It looks like he messes up his aim or has a last-second change of heart that saves him. We’ll see exactly how it plays out tonight.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers For January 19: Doubts

Elsewhere, we’re back to the boring stuff. And by boring, we mean Elisa. However, it does look like she’s waking up more and more by the day. Teasers say she continues to doubt Eugenio’s intentions. We’re curious why. Will she see/hear something she doesn’t like? Or will José Luis name names after all? We’ll see.

Univision Imperio De Mentiras Spoilers For January 19: Here we go again

Finally, Imperio de mentiras spoilers say Leo and Elisa have a painful discussion. This makes us believe more and more José Luis names names. That would definitely be a tough situation for the both of them, as each one’s connected to someone that caused the other’s pain. That’s actually a cool thought, but we’re doubtful of it playing out as well as it should. We’ll see.
