If you’ve frequented youtube then you will know the likes of Trisha Paytas and how she used to literally have a podcast with Ethan Klein, which as of recently is no more due to the sheer amount of drama that Trisha brought to the table.
If she wasn’t feuding with Ethan and wife Hila then she was making false allegations in the podcast and on twitter against former teachers at her middle school, teachers which she claimed in previous videos (circa 2014) to idolize and even fantasize about.
Trisha Paytas – no accountability
These teachers whom she named on the podcast (which caused Ethan to end up deleting the podcasts after these teachers’ families got a massive amount of hate) were never charged, arrested, or fired as she claimed in the podcasts and the person that initially backed her up deleted their account and then went private.
Recently there’s been some other drama as well because Tana Mongeau, in spite of having sponsor deals on her own podcast, deleted the Trisha episode for awhile at least (although it is back up now or at least it was last night), Trisha herself has deleted over 1300 videos and over a billion views from her channel which she did address saying that she didn’t often fact check and didn’t really need to be given a platform – okay fair.
But most recently there was a youtube channel called Mysterious who literally did a well-researched series of videos comparing all of Trisha’s past videos as well as her autobiographies to her time on Frenemies and there was a lot of inconsistencies – namely the false allegations she made against the teachers at her middle school.
However there are other, more reliable people that could come forward and corroborate Trisha’s stories – and that would be her Mom, Lenna Paytas who actually has a youtube channel of her own (even though from what we can tell it is not updated regularly) and somewhat of an online presence.
Her younger sister, Callie, could also back up her stories and actually used to collab with Trisha pretty regularly back during the start of her youtube channel but now she is virtually non-existant on the channel. So if Trisha had all of these things happen why aren’t these two coming forward and saying anything?
If, and we want to give Trish the benefit of the doubt here, but if these tales are not actually true and are simply something that she did for clout and views and essentially money then maybe, just maybe, both Lenna and Callie are benefitting off this clout and views in some way, probably financially, and just aren’t coming forward to speak on it.
They don’t want to be involved in a potential trainwreck but are more than content to feed off the carcasses, as it were. It is unfortunate that Mysterious has deleted all of their videos on the subject because of the hate that they said they were getting.
They didn’t want to be involved in it anymore and who can blame them? No one. However, they were informative while they lasted and shed an incredible amount of light on the situation. Now all we have to go on is Trisha’s word and it looks like that changes every couple of years. Stay tuned!!!
