Last week, Trisha Paytas had the entire internet come for them when they misspoke and alleged that a former middle school teacher (who is since deceased) was arrested and fired for possession of child porn, she even had someone on twitter corroborating her story at one point (although they later deleted their account and came back as private), however that was not what got her sued.
As it turns out, fellow youtuber Anna Campbell is the one that’s suing her.
In a suit filed on August 18th, 2021, Campbell alleged that Trisha’s allegations, along with allegations from several other youtubers, including Natalia Taylor, has caused her to lose her partnership with youtube and prevented her from having an income.

If you’ll remember when Taylor made her video she had several other of Anna’s victims (including one that had been underage when Campbell was involved with her) and she detailed how Campbell had helped fostered her own drug addiction as well as the drug addictions of several other girls and other unhealthy habits.
She also alleged that Campbell had intimate relationships with all of them and was abusive and coercive toward them all.
Trisha made her own videos about the situation, which in the lawsuit garnered over 246,000 views which lead to the essential end to Campbell’s career. Not to mention that in the video Trisha was saying that they were going to talk about it on Frenemies (this was back when they were still on the podcast) and that she was appalled at the rest of youtbe for not giving these girls a voice and she intended to do just that – however it looks like legal has advised Trisha to put her money where her mouth is – and shut up.
Ever since the lawsuit was filed, Trisha has taken down all of the videos across both of her channels, both main and vlog channels, discussing her involvement in the situation.
This is serious because her view count has gone down by 1 billion. Yes, you read that right, she is negative ONE BILLION on youtube thanks to this lawsuit being filed. So it looks like Campbell accomplished one thing, and that was finally getting Trisha to shut up.
I guess no one thought to actually bring legal action to Trisha before, then again, no one’s ever actually lost an entire partnership with youtube thanks to Trisha before, so there’s that. We’ll keep and eye on this situation. Stay tuned!!!
